I'm intek from the machine right now, but I'll try a clean install on Monday. Posted January 8, I'm pretty sure that iFlash can "force" a flash, which is probably what I need to do, but I have not found an understandable description of the iFlash syntax on the Intel site or elsewhere on the web.

I even tried removing the BIOS jumper and the "recovery" mode from a floppy and still infel no flash. And my onboard firewire is working fine, maybe you should try this one instead?
